A Master Bulgarian for the FUNtastic Gym

Once again, this year the gymnastics group FUNtastic Gym 06 of Borgomanero has revived its training series with the Bulgarian coach Matei Todorov. From 1 to 4 September, gymnastics athletes had a chance to work with the expert, and by now also a friend, Matei, who has spent four days giving advice, organising exercises and fun for the athletes.
It has been an important commitment, both for the athletes and for the managers and technicians, who had to be constantly engaged in simultaneous translation and logistical organisation of the training series.
As in previous visits, the expectations were not disappointed. In just four days, the Bulgarian teacher, former coach of several Acrobatic gymnastics world champions, was able to convey a lot, setting the pace for the 2015 competition season.
At the 2014 Italian Acrobatic Gymnastics Championship (of the Italian Gymnastics Federation), the Borgomanero athletes won 4 Italian champion and 3 vice-champion titles. The group was also awarded the title of vice-champion among Italian acrobatic sport clubs.
